The PneumoAware Report was designed to assess the current impact of pneumococcal disease in the UK, to identify the remaining challenges and provide a framework for the management and prevention of pneumococcal disease.

The report was written by the Pneumococcal Disease Working Group, a group of organisations brought together by Pfizer, to provide recommendations to improve public, healthcare professional and policy makers’ knowledge and drive better prevention and treatment with the ultimate aim of reducing the impact and prevalence of this devastating disease in the UK.
