The Pneumococcal Disease Working Group was set up to discuss the impact of pneumococcal disease, the current approach to prevention and treatment and what needs to be done in the future to improve the way we deal with pneumococcal disease in the UK.
The Pneumococcal Disease Working Group consists of a group of organisations brought together by Pfizer, to provide recommendations to improve public, healthcare professional and policy makers’ knowledge and drive better prevention and treatment with the ultimate aim of reducing the impact and prevalence of this devastating disease in the UK.
